Teboho Mofokeng is a leadership and management author who is also a civil engineer. She started her career 2008, in a male dominated profession. Not to mention its lack of diversity in leadership and management at the time. In spite of this, within four years of her working career, she was promoted to a junior management role. Surprisingly, it only took twelve months to earn a seat at the middle management table. All this was achieved while building a marriage and raising two children.
As it happens, many mentors played a vital role in her success. For this reason, she shares her experiences on leadership and management. In particular understanding what it takes to earn a seat at the leadership table.
In addition, she has been invited as a speaker at leading universities in Africa, such as the University of Cape Town and University of Stellenbosch. Where she shared her unique experience of building a successful career with final year students.
